Celebrating our 10th year in operation in July 2022, Central Virginia Wine Tours & Transportation is a unique fully licensed and insured transportation company in many aspects. This company is locally owned and operated in Orange, Virginia (just 35 minutes from Charlottesville) and provides more than just the standard “taxi” service. I, Stephen Sanford, began this adventure in 2011 with one single vehicle hoping to help with the lack of safe, reliable, for-hire transportation in Orange, Virginia. Now 10 years later, I have expanded my fleet and have developed numerous relationships with the surrounding wineries, breweries, cideries, and distilleries as well as the wedding venues. 

We pride ourselves on providing more than a standard pickup/drop off reservation, but rather a company that specializes in customized tour from the pickup to the final drop off.  We offer suggestions of local insights such as private food and wine pairing, scenic routes, local eateries, and specialized events occurring at the vineyards, breweries and distilleries. Additionally, we provide wedding shuttling, concert trips, holiday lights tours, airport transfer, corporate event transportation and more. We look forward to serving you!
